# An employee is returning from leave, but plans to do so only as a part-time employee. Can you please confirm the measurement period according to our plans? I want to be able to effectively communicate

Once she goes to part time, her coverage will end effective at the end of that month. She can then pick up COBRA to start the beginning of the next month so there is no lapse in coverage.
